Is every Kingston kit a Fury kit?
No, and that matters once you sort by price. Fury is Kingston's gaming line: Beast and Renegade for desktops, Impact as SO-DIMM for laptops and small PCs. Kingston also sells plain modules, many of them listed as ValueRAM in UK shops. This page shows the Fury kits only. To see every brand side by side, start at UK RAM prices.
The figures below work the other way round. They cover every Kingston desktop module in our data, plain sticks included, so the cheapest kit named in a row is not always a Fury kit. Read the kit name before you hold its price against a Fury listing.
| Kingston desktop RAM | Lowest price | Cheapest kit | Kits available |
|---|---|---|---|
| DDR5, 32GB | £420.97 | Kingston 32 GB DDR5 5600 | 30 |
| DDR5, 32GB, 6000 MT/s | £499.99 | G.Skill RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5 6000 | 7 |
| DDR5, 64GB | £882.99 | Kingston Fury Beast RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5 6000 CL36 | 22 |
| DDR4, 32GB | £234.97 | Kingston ValueRAM 32 GB DDR4 3200 CL22 | 10 |
Which Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 kit should you pick?
For most new desktop builds: 32GB as two 16GB sticks. Mainstream desktop platforms are dual channel, so two modules give full bandwidth, and a matched kit is a safer buy than two loose sticks. On AMD AM5, buying guides point to DDR5 6000 CL30. That sits above AMD's guaranteed spec and needs EXPO switched on in the BIOS. Intel rates its Core Ultra 9 285K for DDR5 up to 6400 MT/s.
Then check the CL. True latency in nanoseconds is CL x 2000 divided by the speed in MT/s, so a 6000 CL36 kit answers in 12 ns and a 6000 CL30 kit in 10 ns. At the same latency, the faster kit wins.
Beast or Renegade? We compare prices and specifications, we do not test modules, so we do not rank one line above the other. Both carry speed and CL in the kit name. Compare those two numbers and the price per GB, and treat the heatsink and lighting as looks. For the same size across all brands, see 32GB RAM prices, DDR5 RAM prices or Corsair RAM prices.
The names look almost the same. The key notch sits in a different place, so a DDR5 stick will not go into a DDR4 slot or the other way round. Your motherboard decides which one you need.
Who should still buy Kingston Fury DDR4?
Only owners of a DDR4 board. Intel 12th to 14th gen chips support both types, but each board takes one; AM5 and Intel Core Ultra 200S are DDR5 only. The cheapest Fury DDR4 module in our data this week costs £84.99. Keep in mind that Samsung, SK hynix and Micron all announced DDR4 end of life in 2025, to move capacity to DDR5 and HBM, according to TrendForce. Buy DDR4 to extend a PC you already own, not to start a new build.
Fury Impact is a separate case. Kingston lists its DDR5 SODIMM at 69.6 mm by 30 mm, a laptop module that does not fit a desktop slot. Those kits appear in the table too; for laptop memory from all brands, see laptop RAM prices.
